CEO Carolyn Jackson: Overseeing Expansion at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children

Carolyn Jackson has served as the CEO of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia since September 2010.

Prior to joining St. Christopher's, Ms. Jackson served as CEO of Lake Pointe Health Network in Rowlett, Texas. While at the helm there, she oversaw the completion of a new intensive care unit and endoscopy suite. She also oversaw the development of a pediatric hospitalist program.

In 2012, St. Christopher's owner, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, announced a $110 million expansion for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. "This expansion will significantly increase our ability to treat critically ill children with the most advanced technology possible," Ms. Jackson said of the upcoming additions.

Ms. Jackson serves on the boards of Drexel University College of Medicine, Health Partners and St. Christopher's Foundation for Children. She also serves on the American Hospital Association's regional policy board as the delegate from the section for child and maternal health.

The Dallas Business Journal named Ms. Jackson as one of its "40 under 40" leaders in 2010.
