A new partnership between mobile healthcare communications company Vocera and organizational services company Zebra Technologies will make Vocera's Collaboration Suite communications solution available on Zebra's Android mobile computer.
Zebra's MC40-HC computer offers healthcare-specific functions, such as barcode scanning for medication administration. Through the partnership, users of MC40-HC will be able to integrate with the Vocera Communication System, as well as EHRs and other clinical system applications.

"The MC40-HC is ideal for Vocera's Collaboration Suite because it is built to withstand the demands of a healthcare environment and designed to empower mobile care teams to deliver the best possible patient experience at the point of care."
