Vigilias Telehealth, a telemedicine company, signed a lease to establish its corporate headquarters in Wichita, Kan., according to the Wichita Business Journal.
The company will be located in a 400-square-foot office on the 14th floor of a downtown building. Officials said they were drawn to the location because of its recently remodeled office suites.
Vigilias's ties to Kansas also prompted it to select Wichita as its headquarters.
"We can locate our technology platform anywhere in the world, but we chose to start in Kansas because several of us have either grown up here or have done our medical training here," said Chuck Coffey, MD, a spokesman for Vigilias, according to the report.
