University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson is planning to expand its telehealth services to more institutions in the state, particularly smaller hospitals and clinics, according to a report by The Clarion-Ledger.
A grant from Delta Regional Authority for $450,000 will help fund the expansion.
The expansion is expected to create 201 jobs over the next three years, according to the report.
