Gartner released its ranking of the top 100 largest IT vendors in the world June 19.
The ranking is based on estimates of the companies' revenue across IT and component market segments in 2016.
Here are the top five IT vendors by revenue, according to Gartner.
1. Apple — $218.1 billion
2. Samsung Vendor Group — $139.1 billion
3. Google — $90.1 billion
4. Microsoft — $85.7 billion
5. IBM — $77.8 billion
