Philips, Bon Secours Charity Health System strike $180M partnership

Philips and Suffern, N.Y.-based Bon Secours Charity Health System launched a $180 million multiyear partnership.

BSCHS is a member of Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network.

Through the collaboration, BSCHS will be able to utilize Philips' solutions to improve care delivery and strengthen its population health initiatives. More specifically, the partnership will give BSCHS access to Philips' imaging systems, patient monitoring and telehealth solutions. BSCHS will be able to leverage the technologies and enhance its focus in areas such as radiology, cardiology, neurology and pediatrics.

The partnership builds on the current 15-year, $500 million collaboration Philips and WMCHealth launched in 2015.

"By collaborating with partners like Philips, we can go beyond providing diagnosis and treatment and work on proactive health management such as healthy living and prevention, building health in our communities, said BSCHS CEO Mary Leahy, MD.
