In October 2015, four individuals — Paul Fletcher-Hill, Feridun Mert Celebi, Kevin Grassi, MD, and Graham Kaemmer — founded New Haven, Conn.-based PatientBank.
The company pulls patients' medical records from hospitals across the nation and collects them in one place. Patients are then able to request all their medical records online and receive them in approximately 10 days.
Less than a year after its founding, PatientBank is already making news. It's currently trending on Product Hunt, an online conglomeration of the best new IT products. In addition, PatientBank has officially launched from YCombinator, which provides seed funding for startups.
