Oscar Health, a $2.7 billion health insurance startup, developed a clinical dashboard that compiles a patient's historical medical information onto a single platform, Business Insider reports.
To create the dashboard, Oscar Health leveraged its position as an insurer and its access to health insurance claims to bring a patient's medical history into one platform. The dashboard runs a machine learning algorithm on the aggregated data to flag the most relevant information for the physician, according to Business Insider.
The clinical dashboard will initially only be available to Oscar Health employees, although the goal is to eventually deploy the tool to all its in-network providers, Business Insider reports.
