Auckland, New Zealand-based Orion Health hired Teri Thomas as executive vice president for global sales, marketing and strategy, effective May 2017.
Here are four points:
1. Ms. Thomas previously served as vice president at Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems Corp., where she worked from 1995 to 2016.
2. Most recently, she worked in IT innovation at University of North Carolina Health Care in Chapel Hill, according to her LinkedIn profile.
3. She will relocate to New Zealand for her new role with Orion.
4. Orion is a global provider of health IT.
"During her tenure at Epic, Teri was instrumental in growing the company from under 100 employees with little market recognition to over 10,000 employees and over US $1 billion in revenue," said Orion Health CEO Ian McCrae.
