Redwood Shores, Calif.-based software provider Oracle will buy Manchester, N.H.-based Dyn, a global internet infrastructure company, to optimize cloud customers' costs and web-driven revenue, reports Reuters.
Dyn services New York-based Pfizer, Los Gatos, Calif-based Netflix and San Francisco-based Twitter. Oracle said Dyn's platform will improve its cloud customers' access and page-load speeds by using Dyn's internet performance information, according to the report.
Dyn was targeted by high-profile cyber attacks in October, affecting some of its clients' web operations.
Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
