ONC staffer leaves agency to join former ONC director Farzad Mostashari’s consultancy

Ahmed Haque, director of programs and engagement at ONC, is stepping down from his position to join former National Coordinator Farzad Mostashari's accountable care consultancy Aledade as executive director, according to Politico.

Mr. Haque has been serving at ONC as director of programs and engagement since November 2014.

National Coordinator Karen DeSalvo, MD, said in a note to ONC staff, "I have appreciated Ahmed's role as an advisor to me on programs and engagement activities related to provider and consumer adoption, and the use of interoperable health IT tools," according to Politico.
