Nordic extends services beyond Epic consulting

Nordic, a company that bills itself as an "Epic consulting firm," attributed its recent growth to expansion into other computer technology support services, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

The firm unveiled a 6,000-square-foot expansion to its office in Madison, Wis., July 27. This additional office space provides work space for 60 more employees, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. The firm's managed services division, for example, has added more than 30 employees since Jan. 1.

Vivek Swaminathan, president of the company's managed services division, said services outside of Epic consulting have been "a huge part" of the firm's expansion. In particular, the firm's general computer technology support has helped client companies who don't have the bandwidth to develop their own IT departments.

"It is a growing and booming portion of our business and a big part in our future," he told the Wisconsin State Journal.
