MTBC launches platform designed for scalability: 4 things to know

Somerset, N.J.-based MTBC, a provider of healthcare IT solutions, launched a new offering called MTBC WebSoft.

Here are four things to know.

1. The WebSoft platform is designed to "further support scalability, acquisition integration and margin expansion," according to a news release.

2. MTBC said the platform will ultimately replace its legacy management information system.

3. "MTBC WebSoft leverages state of the art technology — ASP.NET MVC framework and AngularJS 2.0 — to optimize performance, empower us to scale with increasing efficiency, and enable us to further streamline the integration of newly acquired customer bases," Hadi Chaudhry, MTBC vice president of global operations, said in the release. He added: "As a top consolidator in our space that has grown year-over-year revenues by more than 60 percent during the most recent two quarters, this is precisely the type of tool we need to ensure that we remain ahead of the industry for many years to come as we continue our expansion into new markets."

4. The beta launch of MTBC WebSoft commenced at the beginning of this month and MTBC expects the platform to be fully deployed within two months.
