While statistics on physicians' EHR satisfaction seem to produce mixed results, a new survey metric seems to tip the scale more to one side: The number of organizations seeking replacement EHR has risen 59 percent from 2014.
Here are three additional findings from the recent Software Advice survey.
• Of respondents seeking new EHR software, 45 percent were interested in billing applications with payment posting and insurance verification capabilities.
• More than one-quarter of respondents request a claim support application as part of their EHR.
• The third most-requested application was patient scheduling, requested by 23 percent of respondents.
