Homeland Security to investigate health employee I-9 forms found in used office furniture

The owners of a Branchburg, N.J.-based printing company said they found hundreds of employment eligibility verification forms after purchasing used office furniture, News 12 New Jersey reports.

The Sublimation 101 owners told News 12 New Jersey they found hundreds of completed I-9 forms with personal information in one of the cabinets they purchased. The forms included information such as individuals' names, addresses and phone numbers, along with other sensitive documentation like copies of Social Security cards and passports.

The majority of the forms seemed to be from a health group in New Jersey, according to the television news station. The health group did not immediately respond to News 12 New Jersey's request for comment.

Sublimation 101 owner Michael Kaminsky told News 12 New Jersey the U.S. Department of Homeland Security planned to investigate the incident at the company Aug. 10.
