HIT Application Solutions announced Feb. 27 that it would officially change the company name to Notifi Health.
The company, based in Exton, Pa., provides secure communication software for patients and providers. The renaming is part of an ongoing rebranding effort to realign its corporate mission, according to a news release. The company will now follow the name of its flagship communications product, Notifi.
"We are excited about the name change which represents our commitment to continuing to enhance and deliver Notifi to the healthcare industry," said Jerry Baker, CEO of Notifi Health, in the news release. "Our new corporate identity signifies the company's evolution over the past decade. Following last year's expansion of our corporate offices and personnel, it was the next logical step to accurately redefine our identity."
