Good Samaritan Hospital updates website for improved mobile use, navigation

Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Calif., launched an updated website that allows for better use on both mobile devices and desktops.

The website also features a more patient-friendly interface, including emergency department wait times and community resources for classes and events, as well as all affiliated physicians' office locations and contact information, according to a news release.

It also provides a patient portal that gives patients access to medication records, test results, visit summaries and an appointment schedule. The first thing patients see upon visiting the website is a toolbar to quickly reach the pages they need, such as billing, a symptoms checker, the patient portal and a page to contact a nurse.

"Our new website has an inviting look and feel that reflects our focus on treating patients in mind, body and spirit with market-leading quality and the latest in techniques and technology," said Paul Beaupré, CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital. "It's all been designed to make our patients' lives smoother while also offering interesting, engaging information with straight-forward navigation."
