Paul Gorup, a co-founder and former chief innovation officer of health IT company Cerner, joined Epiq's board of directors.
Mr. Gorup was heavily involved in the early formation of Cerner. He left the company in 1987, but returned in 1999 to expand the company's reach into a number of different markets.
Epiq provides integrated technology and services for the legal profession.
