The Central Ohio Health Information Exchange will add its roster of hospitals to the Statewide ClinicSync network, according to an announcement by ClinicSync.
Hillard, Ohio-based ClinicSync is the statewide HIE and allows hospitals and health systems to exchange information with physicians and hospitals outside its walls. The Central Ohio HIE currently has 24 hospitals on its roster and aids 1,368 physicians at the practice level with the adoption of electronic health record systems under a federal grant program managed by the Ohio Health Information Partnership.
ClinicSync will now be the HIE provider for the 14-county region served by the Central Ohio HIE.
