Awarepoint Announces 2010 Results

Awarepoint Corporation, a provider of real-time location system services, has announced that it ended 2010 with 91 contracted hospital sites, totaling more than 45-million-square-feet of RTLS network coverage and more than 135,000 healthcare assets under management, according to an Awarepoint news release.

These results represent a 30 percent increase in contracted hospitals, 50 percent increase in square feet of RTLS network coverage and a 58 percent increase in healthcare asset tags under management by Awarepoint from 2009 year-end figures. Additionally, revenue growth exceeded 100 percent for the third year in a row.

Awarepoint has also expanded its RTLS footprint throughout the healthcare sector. Beyond servicing a wide range of notable hospitals, including Adventist Health, Kaiser Permanente and Jackson Health System, Awarepoint also provides RTLS solutions to prestigious teaching institutions, independent facilities and military medical centers, including University of California-San Francisco Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
