Almost 30 percent of U.S. household with broadband connection own and use at least one connected health device, and 13 percent of such households reported by very likely to purchase a connected health device in the next 12 months, according to a Parks Associates report.

1. Exercise equipment with built-in app support: 13 percent own and use, 6 percent intend to buy
2. Digital pedometer or fitness tracker: 7 percent own and use, 5 percent intend to buy
3. Blood pressure cuff: 6 percent own and use, 4 percent intend to buy
4. Digital weight scale: 4 percent intend to buy, 4 percent use
5. GPS watch: 4 percent use, 3.5 percent intend to buy
6. Sports watch with built-in heart-rate monitor: 3.5 percent use, 4 percent intend to buy
7. Sleep-quality monitor: 2.5 percent use, 4 percent intend to buy
8. Smart pill box: 2 percent use, 4 percent intend to buy
9. Glucometer: 2 percent use, 3.5 percent intend to buy
