9 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced in the past week.

1. East River Medical in Bluefield, W.V., selected Benchmark Systems to provide IT software and support solutions.

2. Nevada (Mo.) Regional Medical Center selected five new Cerner software items, including a behavioral health unit module and laboratory imaging interface.

3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic selected Apervita to offer healthcare analytics between health professionals.

4. Emerus, an emergency-services company, announced it would implement the Vocera communication system within Emerus-branded hospitals in Texas.

5. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center selected Zix Corp. to provide email encryption and data protection.

6. Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, will incorporate GenomeNext's genomic analysis platform for clinical research initiatives and laboratory services.

7. The Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance selected Medidata to support its data collection project.

8. Long Beach, Calif.-based SCAN Health Plan is now live on ikaSystems' suite of business solutions.

9. American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, Wis., part of University of Wisconsin Health, is piloting Epic's MyChart Bedside app.
