9 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following vendor contracts and health IT go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. The Medical Society of the State of New York announced DrFirst is its official and recommended provider of e-prescribing software for its members.

2. Flemington, N.J.-based Hunterdon Healthcare selected Practice Unit as its single mobile communications platform provider.

3. The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington chose Imprivata Cortext as its secure communication platform for mobile and desktop messaging.

4. Grand Blanc, Mich.-based Genesys Health System will implement PerfectServe's secure communications platform.

5. St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, Iowa, is now live on an integrated OnBase and Meditech 6 solution integrating EHR information with financial processes.

6. New York-based Mount Sinai Health System deployed the RateMyHospital app in six of its emergency rooms, allowing patients to give feedback and the hospital to make adjustments within minutes or hours of receiving the patient feedback.

7. Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System joined Premier and will leverage the group purchasing organization's suite of performance and supply chain analytics solutions.

8. Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare is using RelayHealth's multi-vendor clinical data sharing solution.

9. Neptune, N.J.-based Meridian Health selected Cerner's HealtheIntent solution to aggregate and manage population health data across multiple EHRs.
