8 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. Philadelphia-based HealthShare Exchange of Southeastern Pennsylvania selected Mirth Solutions' platform to securely electronically exchange patient health records and claims data.

2. Portland, Ore.-based Legacy Health chose GetWellNetwork's solutions for interactive patient care initiatives.

3. Extended Care Specialists in Fort Wayne, Ind., will implement gEHRiMed's EHR platform.

4. Hamilton Medical Consultants in Carmel, Ind., selected Diagnotes Mobile Clinical Communication System for secure messaging.

5. CGH Medical Center in Sterling, Ill., will use TelmedIQ's secure text messaging solution for physician communication.

6. Deaconess Health System, based in Evansville, Ind., is in the process of integrating Fitbit into its Epic MyChart patient portal.

7. Truven Health Analytics will develop, manage and host an enhanced data mart for the North Carolina Hospital Association and the health systems and ACOs it represents.

8. Data Computer Corp. of America, based in Ellicott City, Md., landed a $24 million technology service support contract with CMS.
