7 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. Adventist Health System, headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., selected athenahealth's EHR for its 1,600 employed physicians.

2. The Tri-County Health Department of Colorado has joined forces with Patagonia Health, an EHR software vendor, to co-design a charting system to implement in the department's EHR.

3. Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital introduced Vocera's mobile healthcare communications solutions into its operating rooms and throughout its perioperative services.

4. Scripps Health, based in San Diego, formed an agreement with Health Gorilla to provide access to imaging and lab data from its facilities to community physicians and their patients. 

5. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic will implement ContextMedia:Health's suite of point-of-care patient education solutions in more than 25,000 offices.

6. Community Health Systems, based in Franklin, Tenn., is planning to implement telemedicine technology from VirtualHealth now in four of its markets. 

7. Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System deployed Excel Medical's BedComm Mobile Vitals Capture solution, which streamlines automation of nursing documentation and data integration.
