6 Cerner executives earn ACHE fellow designation

Cerner announced six executives in its leadership team have earned the designation of fellow within the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Each executive now has the FACHE credential, which "represents high achievement and standards of professional development," within healthcare management, according to a news release. Only around 9,000 healthcare executives have earned the distinction.

The six executives who earned the credential are:

•    Laurie Gehrt, vice president, consulting
•    Chad Greeno, vice president, population health consulting
•    Nancy Higgins, manager, clinical adoption
•    Ryan Owings, solution executive, perioperative operations
•    Stephanie Rogers, senior director, consulting
•    Mary Beth Russell, manager, Cerner Healthe Clinics

"By being board-certified in healthcare management as an ACHE fellow, healthcare leaders demonstrate their commitment to excellence in serving their patients and communities," said Deborah J. Bowen, president and CEO of ACHE. In all, 18 Cerner executives are ACHE fellows.
