5 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. University of California — San Diego Moores Cancer Center is now live on InfuSystem EXPRESS, a patent-pending EMR connectivity solution from InfuSystem Holdings.

2. MEDITECH South Africa will implement its EHR solution in all 28 public hospitals and clinics in Botswana.

3. Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives selected Cerner ITWorks, a service line in which Cerner will assume operational and administrative responsibilities for CHI's IT functions at its facilities.

4. More than 800 physicians and 300 licensed professionals with NewYork-Presbyterian's Physician Services Organization will soon be adopting athenahealth's services for their physician practices.

5. UMass Memorial Health Care, based in Worcester, Mass., announced plans to switch to Epic's EHR platform.
