Friday Feel Good: Flood doesn't stop physician from delivering babies

A dose of feel-good to kick off the weekend.

A Houston physician braved a flood Tuesday to deliver babies.

When Bassem Maximos, MD, got stranded in heavy rains on his way to the hospital, he abandoned his car in the middle of the waterlogged road and waded for half a mile through waist-high floodwater, according to CBS News.

"I was determined to make it," Dr. Maximos told CBS. He arrived to the hospital in time to deliver a baby girl named Mila and a baby boy named Bradley, according to the report.
