TCN launched VocalRx, an automated patient engagement platform.

Inbox Health acquired CakeHealth, a billing transparency business that aggregates medical cost and insurance data.

Nashville, Tenn.-based startup Emergency Physician Partnerships launched to help private emergency medicine practices with medical billing.

PatientPay extended the deadline of its Healthcare Billing Challenge, in which it asked hospitals and revenue cycle vendors to test the efficacy of their current billing processes against PatientPay's paperless billing platform.
