Here are 10 top revenue cycle management leaders at healthcare vendors.

Note: This is not an exhaustive list. Leaders are presented in alphabetical order.

Wesley Arnett. Executive Vice President of Deployment at R1 RCM (Chicago). Mr. Arnett has worked for R1, formerly Accretive Health, for more than a decade. In his current position, he helps with onboarding new customers and integrating the company's Performance StackTM offering into customers' organizations, among other duties. Mr. Arnett also previously led the company's East Region.

Sam Champagnie. Senior Director of Health Information Management Operations at himagine solutions (St. Louis). Ms. Champagnie has more than two decades of healthcare business management experience focusing on large national health systems. She has experience in a number of areas, such as revenue cycle management, optimization and consolidation of business office operations, and developing healthcare reimbursement strategies. Prior to joining himagine solutions, Ms. Champagnie was vice president of revenue cycle at Physician Partners of America in Tampa, Fla.

Ken Christensen. COO for Physician RCM Services at Conifer Health Solutions (Tinley Park, Ill.). Mr. Christensen has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare services. He has served in his current role since January 2015. Prior to joining Conifer Health, he was senior vice president of operations at SPi Healthcare, an integrated revenue cycle and clinical documentation improvement firm. He also previously worked as a healthcare consultant at Professional Business Consultants in Oak Brook, Ill., and served as a practice manager at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.

Steven Huddleston. President and Chief Client Officer at nThrive (Alpharetta, Ga.). Mr. Huddleston is responsible for sales, consulting, client success, channel partnerships and commercial operations for nThrive's revenue cycle offerings. Prior to taking on his current role, he was chief strategy and transformation officer at nThrive. Mr. Huddleston also previously served as senior advisor at private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management, and in 2011 helped launch Parallon, a wholly owned health services subsidiary of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.

Jeff Hurst. Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management at Cerner and President of RevWorks (Kansas City, Mo.). Mr. Hurst has worked for Cerner since September 2016. At Cerner, he focuses on accountability for the company's revenue cycle business, including strategy and market success. Previously, he served as senior vice president and senior finance officer at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Outside of this experience, he spent a decade serving in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Hurst earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master's degree in business administration from Creighton University in Omaha.

Jennifer Igel. Vice President of Client Operations at Optum360 (Phoenix). Ms. Igel oversees revenue cycle management operations for San Francisco-based Dignity Health, one of the company's clients. She previously served in leadership positions at Dignity Health, including senior director of revenue services. Ms. Igel earned a master's degree in health services administration from Arizona State University in Tempe and a bachelor's degree in biology from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University.

David J. Law. Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Zotec Partners (Carmel, Ind.). Mr. Law heads Zotec's business development and marketing strategies. He is part of various industry organizations, including the Radiology Business Management Association and the American College of Radiology. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Butler University in Indianapolis.

Mike Morris. President of Xtend Healthcare (Hendersonville, Tenn.). Mr. Morris has more than 25 years of revenue cycle management experience. In his current role, which he began last year, he is responsible for Xtend's operations and customer performance. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas in Denton. He is part of various industry organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

Pete Thompson. Senior Solutions Architect at ClearBalance (San Diego). Mr. Thompsonhas worked for ClearBalance since 2004. In his current position, he is responsible for client solution design, including financial modeling and return on investment analysis, among other duties, according to the company. Prior to his current role, he held various client program performance roles, including management of the funding department and director of client services. Mr. Thompson also previously served as a senior analyst with Cardinal Health, a healthcare services company based in Dublin, Ohio.

Ryan Wise. Vice President of Emerging Services at athenahealth (Lexington, Mass.). Mr. Wise has worked for athenahealth for nearly 20 years. In his current role, he leads revenue cycle management for the company. Prior to taking on that role, he held various other positions at athenahealth, including vice president of enterprise operations, vice president of product strategy and vice president of product innovation. Athenahealth said he played a key role in founding and scaling the company's cloud-based RCM services, designing services and software to scale from 20 providers to more than 87,000. Mr. Wise also headed the extension of athenaCollector services into hospitals, the company added.
