RC Hospital & Clinics Breaks Ground on $24M Replacement Hospital

RC Hospital & Clinics in Olivia, Minn., has started construction on its new hospital, according to a West Central Tribune report.

According to the hospital, the new facility will cover 62,000 square feet and include 16 inpatient beds. The new hospital will also have 15 exam rooms, several outpatient clinics and two operating rooms. The total cost of the project will be about $24 million.

The county-owned hospital will pay for the facility through cash, contributions and long-term debt. RC Hospital was able to obtain low-interest financing through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and AgStar Financial Services, according to the report. The hospital is expected to open in October 2015.
