Gainesville-based Northeast Georgia Health System has announced that its new medical center in Braselton, Ga., will open on April 1.
Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton will offer a wide array of advanced surgical and medical services, as well as outpatient surgery, emergency services and specialty care in cardiology, oncology, orthopedics and neurosciences.
The 100-bed hospital is the first net-new hospital, meaning it isn't a replacement or relocated facility, in Georgia in nearly 20 years.
