The New York State Department of Health unveiled Medicaid managed care organization requirements for transferring care of children with complex health conditions to a managed care model, according to an Open Minds report.
Under a federal section 1115 waiver amendment, New York will transition its children's home- and community-based services to Medicaid managed care in July 2018.
The department released the requirements, in addition to an application form and other standards, July 31.
