MedAssets reports $185.6M in Q1 revenue, Nicklaus Children's Hospital selects Cerner's RCM solutions, Consolidated Laboratory Services selects McKesson for billing services & more – 6 RCM company key notes

Here are six recent news updates on healthcare revenue cycle management companies.

Anthelio Healthcare Solutions, based in Dallas, signed an agreement with Star Medical Center in Plano, Texas, to provide revenue cycle optimization services. 


Healthcare research firm KLAS released its latest report on patient portal adoption, identifying Epic, athenahealth and Medfusion as vendors that most effectively help their customers drive patient portal adoption.

Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., implemented Cerner's patient accounting solution.

MedAssets reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2015. The company's total net revenue for the quarter was $185.6 million, up 8.6 percent from $170.9 million in the first quarter of 2014.

Athens (Ga.) Regional Medical Center chose to expand its partnership with MedAssets and implement the company's end-to-end revenue cycle management solutions.

Consolidated Laboratory Services, based in Jacksonville, Fla., selected McKesson Business Performance Services for laboratory billing.
