Health Payment Systems, a Milwaukee-based provider of healthcare technology and services solutions, won the 2017 Health 2.0 "Design for Health" contest.
The contest "acknowledges those in the healthcare technology space that offer products and services that improve the experience of health," according to HPS.
HPS received recognition for its SuperEOB solution, which offers "one statement, one payment, and one place to call" via consolidation of patients' medical expenses and explanation of benefits into one statement, the company said.
HPS was the sole contest winner out of more than 20 contenders.
