Craneware, OhioHealth to present on pharmacy revenue integrity HFMA's Annual National Institute

Craneware, a provider of automated value cycle solutions, will present at the 2016 Healthcare Financial Management Association's Annual National Institute alongside its client, Columbus-based OhioHealth.

Both parties will lead a session titled, "Establishing a Pharmacy Revenue Integrity Program," June 28in Las Vegas. During the presentation, they will describe how OhioHealth implemented a combination of technologies and best practices to ensure optimal medication charge capture, minimize compliance risk and establish ownership of pharmacy revenue cycle functions, according to a news release.

"In today's value-based care world, pharmacy departments need to ensure they capture and retain all revenue earned. To do this, organizations need to foster enterprise-wide alignment and ensure that the right processes and technologies are in place," OhioHealth's business director of pharmacy services, Tara Hanuscak, said in a prepared statement. "We look forward to sharing tips with attendees to help others adapt practices that support optimal financial performance."

Craneware will also schedule appointments for HFMA ANI attendees to review a customized value cycle scorecard, which reviews the provider's key financial performance metrics against that of peers.
