Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives has announced that Prominence Health is the new name of a for-profit, wholly-owned CHI subsidiary formerly known as CollabHealth Managed Solutions.
The subsidiary — which was established in 2012 — oversees a portfolio of commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans, networks of care and related products and services nationwide, according to a news release. In addition to operating health plans, Prominence will align and coordinate delivery systems and services across various areas such as benefits management, health delivery networks and health data analytics, among others, according to a news release.
"Prominence Health will significantly advance CHI's ability to excel in a pay-for-value environment," said Juan Serrano, CEO of Prominence and senior vice president of payer strategy and operations for CHI, said of the company. "Through Prominence, CHI has developed a catalyst to position us as a broadly integrated health system that enables exceptional health services and superior value for the communities we serve."
