7 recent hospital outlook and credit rating actions

The following hospital and health system rating and outlook changes and affirmations took place in the last week, starting with the most recent.

1. Moody's assigns 'Aa2' to Advocate Health Care Network's bonds
Moody's Investors Service assigned an "Aa2" rating to Chicago-based Advocate Health Care Network's proposed $71 million of series 2015B fixed rate revenue bonds. 

2. S&P raises Berkshire Health Systems' rating to 'A'
S&P raised the long-term rating to "A" from "A-" on Pittsfield, Mass.-based Berkshire Health Systems' revenue debt issued by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency.

3. Fitch upgrades Holy Redeemer Health System's bonds to 'BBB'
Fitch Ratings upgraded the rating to "BBB" from "BBB-" on the following bonds issued by Meadowbrook, Pa.-based Holy Redeemer Health System. 

4. S&P assigns 'A-' rating to Nacogdoches County Hospital District's bonds
S&P assigned an "A-" long-term rating to Nacogdoches (Texas) County Hospital District's series 2015 sales tax refunding bonds. 

5. Moody's downgrades Good Samaritan Hospital's rating to 'Baa2'
Moody's Investors Service downgraded Vincennes, Ind.-based Good Samaritan Hospital's bond rating to "Baa2" from "Baa1," affecting $81.6 million of outstanding debt issued by Knox County, Indiana.

6. Fitch assigns 'AA' rating to Advocate Health Care's bonds
Fitch Ratings assigned an "AA" rating to Chicago-based Advocate Health Care's series 2015B revenue bonds, affecting $51 million.

7. S&P raises rating on Asante Health System's revenue debt
S&P raised its underlying rating on Medford, Ore.-based Asante Health System's revenue debt to "A+" from "A."
