5 hospital CFOs in the headlines this week

Here are five healthcare industry CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Kanner Tillman, PhD, MBA, CFO at Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Hospital and Encino (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center, was in the news sharing tips for hospital CFOs on how to evaluate organizations interested in partnering, affiliating or merging.

2. Louis Bass, CPA, was in the news as he was promoted from CFO to CEO of Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Ala.

3. Alan Ulrich was in the news discussing his new role as CFO at Juneau, Alaska-based Bartlett Regional Hospital.

4. Vic Wadwa, the former CFO of a group of pain management clinics located in central Maryland, was in the news as he pleaded guilty to receiving kickbacks in return for referrals.
