5 hospital CFOs in the headlines

Here are five hospital and health system CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Joe Reppert, CFO of North Mississippi Health Services in Tupelo, was in the news discussing his system's latest financial results.

2. Plachikkat Anantharam was in the news as he was appointed CFO of NYC Health + Hospitals.

3. Kenneth Morris, senior vice president, treasurer and CFO of Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System, was in the news discussing his system's financial results for fiscal year 2015.

4. Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed Health & Hospitals CFO Michael Browning was in the news discussing some of the major expenses the system incurred in fiscal year 2015.

5. James Canedo, the ex-CFO of Pacific Hospital in Long Beach, Calif., was in the news as a kickback case against him was unsealed.
