5 healthcare CFOs in the headlines

Here are five hospital and health system CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Shawn Guertin, CFO of Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna, was in the news discussing the lawsuit the Department of Justice brought against the insurer. 

2. Erlanger Health System CFO Britt Tabor was in the news discussing the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based system's decision to give 3,700 employees bonuses.

3. John Wilker, CFO of Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Neb., was in the news discussing the hospital's plan to refinance some of its bonds.

4. Chris Sauder was in the news as he was appointed vice president and CFO of Florida Hospital Carrollwood in Tampa.

5. Rita Schaefer was in the news as she was named CFO of Medsphere Systems Corp., a provider of EHR solutions and services.
