Here are five healthcare industry CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Douglas Goldfarb, former CFO of Sebastopol, Calif.-based Sonoma West Medical Center, was in the news as he filed a lawsuit against SWMC alleging he was fired for reporting the chairman of the board's corrupt behavior.

2. David W. Froesel Jr., executive vice president, treasurer and CFO of PharMerica Corp., was in the news, as he announced plans to retire.
