Here are four healthcare industry CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Daniel P. Jantzen was in the news as he was appointed CFO of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

2.Rob Gerger was in the news as he was named CFO of cloud-based services company PrescribeWellness.

3. D. Monte Ward, senior vice president, CFO and chief acquisition officer at Cabell Huntington (W.Va.) Hospital, was in the news discussing the Federal Trade Commission's decision to withdraw an administrative complaint challenging the merger between Cabell Huntington and St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.

4. Frances Spreer-Albert was in the news as she was named executive vice president and CFO of Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center.
