Discover the answers when leaders from independent healthcare accreditor URAC speak next week at the CMSA 2017 Annual Conference in Austin, TX. The presentations are aimed at helping the nation’s case managers prepare for changes in the field while continuing strides to improve patient care.

URAC Vice President of Operations, Marlene Bolster, MBA, will present on “New Case Management Opportunities in Advancing Post-Acute Care Goals.” Bolster will discuss how providers can develop new ways to adjust to be more accountable and deliver value-based care. Also, how hospitals and health systems are accepting responsibility to manage bundled payments and arbitrate all services.

URAC Vice President and Redefine Health Executive Director, Deborah Smith, RN, MN, RNC, will co-present “Case Management: Moving Forward to Transform Amid a Sea of Change,” with Integrity Consulting and Advocacy President and CEO, Cheri Lattimer. This presentation will cover the tools needed to support excellence in case management practice and more. In addition, how URAC and CMSA have collaborated since the 1990’s to pursue the various avenues for defining and supporting case management practice by qualified case managers.
