The Maryland Health Care Commission voted Thursday to approve a proposed $543 million hospital in Prince George's County, according to The Washington Post.
2. Kaiser Permanente to open sports medicine clinic
A new sports medicine clinic within the Sacramento Kings basketball stadium Golden 1 Center in Sacramento opened Oct. 17. The 18,000-square-foot center was created by Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
