University of Rochester Medical Center taps NextGate to aggregate provider data

University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center deployed a solution from NextGate, a provider of patient and provider identification solutions, to help manage provider information.

The solution, called Provider & Organization Registry, aggregates provider data, such as specialties, locations and hours. The goal is to create a single reference source to centralize information across financial, clinical and credentialing systems.

The provider data management tool helps to foster "effective communication and positive experiences among patients, physicians and staff," according to Andy Aroditis, CEO of NextGate.
