How do I reserve my hotel room?

How do I get to the hotel room from the airport?

Chicago has two airports - O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW), which are both 15-20 miles from Downtown Chicago. Taxi service is readily available from both airports and runs about $35 one way.  Depending on the time of day, a cab will take approximately 30 minutes.

The Chicago subway system, known as the 'L,' provides service directly from O'Hare to Downtown Chicago via the Blue Line and from Midway to Downtown Chicago via the Orange Line for $2.25 each way.  The 'L' will take approximately 40 minutes from the airport to Downtown Chicago.  The closest stop to the hotel on both 'L' lines is Clark Street and Lake Street.  There will be a walk of approximately 7 blocks from this stop to the hotel.

What happens if I teardown early?

Any exhibitor who chooses to dismantle outside of the dedicated tear down times will be prohibited from selecting a prefereed booth location at next year’s meeting. Additionally, if you store your empty boxes with Freeman, they will not bring out your boxes until after the last netowkring reception (Wendesday, April 19th at 7:00pm). Freeman will not make eceptions. If you need to leave before then, you can make alternative arrangements to store extra boxes or shipping materials.

Where and when do I send my booth?

Please reference your Exhibitor Kit for spceific shipping and handling directions and details. If you cannot locate your Exhibitor Kit, please email events@beckershealthcare.com.

Will there be a company on-site to help set up the booths?

Freeman Exhibitor Services Department will be onsite for the duration of the show. You may order onsite booth setup and teardown through Freeman at your own expense. Information on these services can be found in the Exhibitor Kit or by calling Freeman directly at (773)  473-7080.

Can I order Lead Retrieval?

Exhibitors have the option to purchase a badge scanner to use at their booth for lead retrieval. This allows you to easily scan the attendees' badges and gather their contact information in one report. Please fill out the LEAD RETRIEVAL FORM and email to orders@american-tradeshow.com if you would like to purchase a badge scanner for the event. You will pick up this scanner in the exhibit hall, the day of the event. For questions, please call 985-809-0600, ext. #777.

Can my booth host a raffle?

Absolutely!  We encourage all booths to host a raffle on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings to encourage attendees to stop by and leave business cards.  If you plan on participating in a raffle, please let the Becker's Events Team know what you'll be raffling.  We will then arrange a time to stop by your booth on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and announce the winners.

What should I wear?

Business casual dress is recommended.  Chicago's average weather in April is 50-70 degrees; however, this can fluctuate dramatically.

How can I purchase my electricity and internet for my booth?

You will order directly through the hotel using the Order Form provided in the Exhibitor Kit, which you will receive via email approximately 45 days prior to the conference.  Please note, neither electricity nor internet are included with your booth.  Also note, Becker's does not hire an onsite company to assist with booth setup and tear down.  Please let us know if you require this service and we can recommend local companies.  Our staff will be on hand and happy to assist, as well.
