Christ Hospital shares details of planned medical center: 4 things to know

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati has plans to begin construction in October on a multimillion-dollar medical center, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.

Here are four things to know about the planned medical center.

1. The medical center will be located in LibertyTownship in southwest Ohio's Butler County.

2. The Liberty Township medical center will offer primary care and specialty services such as orthopedics, urology and cardiology, according to the report. It will include imaging equipment such as X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT scan as well as surgical operating rooms. The center also will have an emergency room and a helicopter pad.

3. The medical center will create more than 300 jobs.

4. The medical center is slated to open in late fall 2017.
