Reid Hospital, Physician Associates join rural ACO group

Richmond, Ind.-based Reid Hospital & Health Services and Reid Physician Associates joined forces with Nevada City, Calif.-based National Rural Accountable Care Organization Consortium in preparation to enter the Medicare Shared Savings Program, according to Inside Indiana Business.

NRACO provides a program leading healthcare organizations serving rural communities, like Reid, to form ACOs. Reid is a 217-bed regional referral medical center serving communities in east central Indiana and west central Ohio. Reid Physician Associates is a group of primary care physicians and specialists affiliated with the hospital who work in clinics in 15 communities, including Richmond.
