ApolloMed ACO Increases Patient Enrollment and Number of Physicians

Glendale, Calif.-based ApolloMed has announced its subsidiary ApolloMed ACO has increased its member physicians to more than 700 and its patient enrollment to 30,000 Medicare beneficiaries.

Through its expansion, the ApolloMed accountable care organization now has physicians and patients in southern California, central California, the San Francisco Bay Area as well as in Mississippi and Ohio.

"The goal of ApolloMed ACO is to improve the quality of care for Medicare fee-for-service patients," said Warren Hosseinion, MD, CEO of Apollo Medical Holdings, in the news release. "We are leveraging our population management and data analytics expertise to more efficiently manage patient costs through improved care delivery with a focus on higher quality patient outcomes, more efficient utilization and better care coordination among providers."
